National Day Holiday Notice
National Day is celebrated on October 1st every year. The celebration commemorates the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
The National Flag-raising ceremony is held at Tian’anmen Square. The five-starred red flag is waving in the wind.
During the holiday, our leaders will present flowers to the Monument to the People's Heroes. Security is quite tight on National Day.
The Chinese people have 7-day off from work. Many people will go to attraction sites in this golden week. All cities and scenic spots are packed.
