The End of Heat
The
End of Heat is the fourteenth of the twenty-four traditional Chinese solar
terms. “处”means
that most of China is moving out of the summer heat and into the cooler autumn.
Two
reasons behind this phenomenon. First of all, that the direct point of the sun
continues to move southward and solar radiation weakens. Secondly, the
subtropical high pressure retreats southward by leaps and bounds and cold high
pressure begins to appear.
Around the end of heat, there are
often celebrating activities in the folk to welcome the autumn. Nowadays,
people often take a trip in the mountains to enjoy the beautiful autumn views.
